Good, but I'm having terrible sciatica pain!

Have you had any funny encounters with people guessing boy or girl?
I don't think ANYONE has guessed boy yet! When I was pregnant with my son, everyone thought it was a boy and they were right. This time, everyone is saying girl. Even a lady running an Indian restaurant we were at a couple of weeks ago said with complete confidence "It's a girl. Sorry Daddy!" I don't think it means anything, but it's always fun!

Did your parents know that you were a girl when they had you? No! Like me, my mom already had a 2.5 year old boy. She was desperate for a girl and was also due in April. Her best friend also had a boy and was also due in April. My mom said her friend was so jealous when she visited her in the hospital. My mom had me April 2...and one of my best girlfriends was born on April 30!

Aside from finding out you were pregnant, what was your favourite thing to happen in 2013?
We successfully moved from Canada to the US for my husband to do a 2 year fellowship, so that was a pretty big deal. But overall, between my pregnancy loss in the spring and my sister's car accident, it was a really hard year for our family. So here's to a much better 2014!!!

I'm 26w3d. I call it 3rd tri because I'll likely be induced at 39w if I haven't popped on my own yet.

feeling pretty good! I got my butt on the elliptical last night and managed more of a jog than a walk, so there's that.

with $100, I really don't know what I'd get. I mean, in theory I have it (Christmas gifts of cash ), but I really just haven't thought about it. I guess that's what #2 team green does.

Guesses: All the guesses I've had are boy because I'm a basketball belly, but that's how I was with dd too.

Did my parents know: they thought girl because of the heartbeat, but didn't know.

best of 2013: watching DD grow. It's really amazing how much she learns so quickly. It makes me tired just to think about it. But she really went from a baby (18mos) to a kid (2 1/2).

How far along are you? 22 weeks

How are you feeling? Awesome... no complaints other than I'm not sleeping great. I feel really good  

If someone gave you $100 to buy something for baby that you don't NEED, what would you chose? You can't choose a carseat or crib, choose something fun! Hmmm... Well, I already have everything! Maybe an expensive diaper bag? Or a few mommy and me classes. 

Have you had any funny encounters with people guessing boy or girl? My younger brother used a stethoscope to listen to baby's heartbeat this week and counted the heartrate, while my dad stood by with a stop watch, haha. They say it's a boy :P 

Did your parents know that you were a girl when they had you? No! It wasn't even an option for them to find out. 

Aside from finding out you were pregnant, what was your favourite thing to happen in 2013? Ooo... we went to Hawaii, so that was nice. There were some really good camping trips in the summer. And DD just getting into toddler-hood has been really fun.

-I'm feeling pretty good.  I'm definitely gaining more weight with this LO and my dr finally said something yesterday at my last appointment.  

-If I had $100 to spend on something fun, I'd probably get an accessory for my double stroller like the belly bar or snack tray.

-I really haven't had many people guess if it's a boy or girl

-My parents did not know I was a girl.  In fact, my mom was convinced that I was a boy and thought that the dr made a mistake when he announced I was a girl

-We became members at our zoo this year and took DD a million times.  It's been so much fun seeing how much she's grown and now she actually understands what the zoo is.

How are you feeling? Pretty good! I am getting some pain in my hips every once and awhile.

Have you had any funny encounters with people guessing boy or girl?  Yes!!! Also everyone thinks that I know, and that I am not telling, actually I am kind of getting a little sick of it! 

Did your parents know that you were a girl when they had you?  My mother did based on the heart beat. 

Aside from finding out you were pregnant, what was your favorite thing to happen in 2013?  Married my wonderful husband

I'm 24 w,5d

Feeling good- hips and lower pelvis constantly sore. It's getting hard to walk after sitting or laying for awhile. Turning over in bed is hell.

Something fun?! Probably a really nice rocking chair. We didnt have one with my son and my back killed during the nighttime crying.

It's funny how sure people are of the sex. Like there is no doubt in their mind...and I've gotten both guesses.

They knew I was a girl.

It sounds mean but my son going to preschool. But he has really blossomed into an even better, kinder, and smarter kid and I think school has been so good for him. He loves it and I love the few hours of freedom!
