What is something you did in 2013 that you're proud of? Brag time, ladies!

I finally stopped biting my nails. I'm 33 and have been a lifelong nail biter. Like, down to the quick.
I realized I probably learned that from my mom, also a nail biter. And that I didn't want Molly to learn it from me.
I quit in July and grew them out to the point where, in November, they were long enough to get a manicure (yes, they wre so short it took FOUR MONTHS to grow them out).
Other stuff: I got a new job, and left my old safety net. and I lost 15 lbs (but gained 5 back, so my plan is to lose that again in 2014!)

My resolution was to be better about flossing and to go to the dentist (I hadn't been in an embarrassingly long time! It's so awful, I know!) I went and the dentist was raving about me never having had a cavity and my excellent oral hygiene!

To have a baby or die trying: mission accomplished.

I wanted to lose weight without madly obsessing and I've managed that.  I also wanted to start eating together as a family at the dining room table more nights than not and we have been doing that.

1. Survived the first year of caring for M.

2. Made it to 1 year goal of BFing M (and still going strong)!

3. Had a major milestone birthday this year and did not have a breakdown (as I realized for the first time, there is something else more important, AKA M, than myself.

4. Hosted T'giving AND Xmas for the first time ever.  Roasted turkey for T'giving and leg of lamb for Xmas. Everyone raved about it and no one got sick!

Got a great annual review at work!

In all, it was a fantastic year.

Great post. Pushed out LO. Survived having a 3 week old and passing the biggest exams of my life. Going through the most stressful year of my life and having an intact marriage at the end.

Gave birth to beautiful twin daughters who I carried to term.

@leahb12 that was my 2012! It was a CRAZY year. :-) hope your 2014 is just as awesome, only calmer.
