NYE plans?

Going out or staying in? I'm hoping to stay awake!

We both work today and MH doesn't feel like driving an hour to our friends house tonight. He is not comfortable driving at night with others on the road. Kinda bummed because we always have fun with this "crew" that will be there :( Since I didn't make the beef tenderloin for Christmas will make tonight with some Gorgonzola sauce and might pick up some yummy treats. My diet will start Thurs... haha

Safe travels for anyone out and about! @jchow009 @owlprof @ProcessofBecoming haven't seen you around lately..maybe taking a break but just wanted to say Happy New Year and hope all is well.

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Happy New Year to the over 35 crew.

    We will be staying in and I'm sooooo happy. @BeckyP005 I'm with your husband on the driving. I am always designated driver on New Years and I have a mini panic attack when it's time to drive home. There are so many drunk people on the road it scares me.

    But I bought a whole bunch of junk food and I will make it fun for just us. But my 17 year old will be going out so I will stress until she is home safe.

    The diet will start Thursday also.

    Hi, Becky!  I am lurking quite often, just don't have too much to report.  Work is going to be so crazy early part of the year.  We are going to go out to a restaurant with some friends tonight, low key but it will be fun.  Happy New Year to you and to the rest of the ladies on the board.  May 2014 a joyful one!

    I plan to pop a bottle of champagne at home. DH will have some beers and we'll stay up til 12:01 then crash out. Happy New Year to all you lovely ladies! Let 2014 be our year!!!

    Hi Becky!  We are staying local - we are going out to dinner and if it isn't too cold will walk but otherwise will drive (only 5 min drive and all in the city).  Then back home to watch the NYE coverage.  Since things didn't work this month I went out and bought a nice bottle of bubbly last night!

    I also prefer to be with friends but this year it is just DH and I.  NYE being a Tues is just harder to meet up with folks.

    Happy New Year, ladies!

    I'm making carne asada for dinner, and then the fella wants to watch the fireworks over the Space Needle (which we can see from our bedroom...). Honestly, I'm not sure if I will stay awake - but I'm going to try!! L-)

    No other plans. I think we are both just ready for the holidays to end. We're getting married in March, so really looking forward to focusing only on the next 2 months!!! :x

    DH and I have no plans, which I'm more than OK with--just kind of resting up to get back to the grind on Thurs.

    We've stocked up on some favorite foods that for some reason we almost never eat except on NYE (Indian sweets for me; pickled herring in sour cream--shudder--for him), bourbon, and Champagne. Like soontobeschrader, I think we'll be in bed at 12:01.

    We are staying in, but we got bunch of hors'd'ouerves ( I can never spell that word) the kind  that you really should never eat but are oooooh so yummy!!!

    Ladies you cannot start your diets on the January 2nd, its my 41 birthday you must have something delicious and tell me about it :D I will be having mexican for dinner and Carvel Ice Cake......then I will start my couch to 5K :D

    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!
