I'm 25 weeks along. I've been getting some cervical mucus all along but lately I will occasionally see a white chunk that falls out into the toilet bowl when I pee, about the size of a quarter. Sorry, I know that's really gross! I did not experience this with my previous pregnancy, is it normal?
Could be bacterial vaginosis or a yeast infection. Have you doc check it out at your next appointment. I had that also, noticed it wasn't like the discharge from my first pregnancy and it ended up being bacterial vaginosis. Now I'm on meds for 5 days.
I hadn't heard of that before, but I know that some discharge is normal and since every pregnancy is different, it's so hard to tell! I'm guessing that it's normal, as long as there is no odor or blood clots associated with it but if you're worried you could always just give a quick call to your OB-GYN to ask ... though I'd have a really hard time asking that question! LOL! It doesn't sound like anything wrong to me!
