Had our 9 month on Thursday. Sawyer is still a little peanut...17 lbs 15 oz (up to 19%ile) and 28.5 in (down to 49% from 90% at 6 month). However he eats like a 15 year old, so I'm not too concerned about his size. Doctor said he's a super active baby and quickly burns calories. Didn't need him to tell me that!
I think my petite Alice may be the smallest baby... she is 15 lbs 3.5 oz and 26 1/2 inches tall. She is around the 10th percentile range for weight and height but her head is 50th percentile. She was 9 months on the 13th.
VENTING. Had such a terrible doctor's appointment experience today! I am so done with my pediatricians office. Appointments with both children- 9 month and 3 yr well visits... Appointment at 11 and we didn't get home until 2... we live about 15 minutes away. Waited in waiting room until 12:30 then in the back room for another half hour at least. That was really fun trying to entertain 2 kids for 2 hours while trying to not pick Malaria up. So poor DS had no lunch and both kids fell asleep in car for about 10 minutes and now won't nap. Sorry I am venting and pissed!!!! ~X(
Anya had her 9 month check up yesterday! She is perfectly healthy and is so amazing when she got her Hep B shot. She is 17 lbs 12 oz and 28 inches long. She is still a peanut but is growing well

To add to this I just added my kids stats to their baby books... DD was 27 inches at her 6 month appointment and 26 1/2 at her 9 month?! And they didn't even remeasure her.

This is why I always ask for them to remeasure even if they looked like they did it right the first time. My husband and I measured Connor and we got 33 inches.. but when they measured she had his legs outwards instead of aligned with his body and measured 31 inches. I asked for her to do it again and put his leg straight and she measured 32.
@Meggs2559, my son only gained 2 pounds 4 ounces in three months. The pedi said that growth really slows after 6 months and that was normal, esp. for breastfed babies.
Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
Emma had her appointment on the 20th. She weights 20lbs 12oz (75%) and height is 27" (90%)... She is pulling herself up, standing while holding things, and also stands by herself for a few seconds before falling. My big girl!
Esther just turned 9 months yesterday. Our pedi doesn't do another appointment until 12 months. I'm not sure on her weight/height, but she was about 19 lbs and 28 1/2 inches at 7 months. I really should take her to the health clinic to have her weighed I guess. Considering she's busting out of 12 month clothing I imagine she's just fine! No crawling yet. After Xmas she did a couple nose dives from sitting and since then she's started scooting everywhere - I'm not sure if that means she'll skip crawling or what. No pulling up in furniture really. Not terribly interested in solids yet - she eats some. Lots of babbling and mama mama dada dada.
We had Catherine's appointment today -- she turned 9 months on the 25th.
She weighs 20lbs., 10oz (84th%) and is 33 inches (97th%). Before the nurse even measured and weighed her, she commented "She's so tall!"
We're still fitting in mostly 9 month clothing, although I keep having to pull her socks up and her pant legs down, lol. Maybe it's time to move up a size, although I find because she's tall and skinny the waist tends to be a little big on her. Oh well.
I can play too! H had her check up this morning. She is 16 lbs 10 oz (22% WHO) and 27 inches (24%WHO). Growth has been pretty steady along the same curve since two months. She isn't pulling to stand yet and isn't crawling, but he wasn't worried about either of those things. He said she should stand by a year and he doesn't consider crawling a milestone anyhow.
We just had ours Monday. He's 75% for height & weight, and 70% for head circumference. He used to be 95% for weight but has been sick and lost a pound or two. Doc says that's ok though because she'd like his percentiles to be close anyway.
We had LO's 9 month appt yesterday. He is 16lbs 2oz and 27 3/4in. He is super tiny but our pedi said he is growing perfectly. He crawls everywhere like a madman, stands alone, and has been taking 7-8 steps by himself the past few days.

I'm worried he only gained 2 pounds in 3 months with all the eating he does but I guess he's just an active boy. Wish I had that problem....
