Middle name starts with the same letter as last name?

As I have posted before, we are working on boy names now eve though we're not pregnant yet because DH and I never agree on ANYTHING for boys. It's luckily DD was a girl or she would be nameless.

We we agree on Milo Jasper, and River (no middle name yet) and have recently agreed on the first name August (probably with NN Gus, though we would probably just call him August) and are trying to think about middle names for August.

I really love Benjamin, and it's one of my favorite boys name, but too popular for a first name, IMO. I love the sound of August Benjamin, but our last name is Brown... So I am wondering if August Benjamin Brown sounds weird to anyone. Our DD is Basil, so the alliteration doesn't bother me, but DH isn't sure about it.

I honestly don't think it sounds bad at all with your last name. Also, it's not like you'll be referring to him by first, middle and last name.

I like Patrick, but it's my Dad's name, and I am not into using family names, or names of people I know well. Thought about Padraic, but it's the Irish for of Patrick, so I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Luckily I have time.

My brother's initials are EJJ, and my dad and his dad are both FJJ. I never found it weird.

My DD will have the initials IMM. We decided her middle name would be May (our anniversary) before I was even pregnant. I like so many M fns, but couldn't do that.
