I know this is not a favored name on the board, but how would you pronounce it? Ad-uh-leen? ad-uh-line? Ad-uh-lynn?

The problem with this name is there are so many various spellings. I like the sound of ad-uh-lynn better than Add-uh-line....so maybe Adelyn would be better?

Only seen Adeline and say -Line

But I feel many names ending in Line often become -lyn not sure why though...

Just my encounters of the name . FWIW Adeline was on my long list, so I love it !

I saw a trailer for a movie today, "The Age of Adaline." I'm not 100% that it was spelled with an a and not an e. Regardless, it was pronounced "line". If the film is a hit I imagine that will become the common pronunciation.
