Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with the Center for Midwifery associated with University of Colorado Hospital? We recently moved to the area and I don't even have a regular pcp yet!
I was with them up until I had my baby this summer. I actually had a great experience with them. They are great about advising you on what your options are but are very respectful of your decisions. I'm looking forward to working with them if I get pregnant again!
I had an okay experience.. it depends on what you want for yourself and your baby. I am very strict about natural pregnancy and birth but didnt receive the support I would have wanted so at 36 weeks I switched to Boulder Midwife Center and delivered DS at 39 weeks. I absolutely love it there in Boulder. It was better than I expected. With LO #2 I will return to boulder midwifery. Good luck and ccongrats.
I just transferred for this pregnancy. I'm happy so far. I was going to go with the birth center and after several losses and some other medical issues, I feel like I prefer that their attitude is slightly more clinical and I feel more confident.
