trigger shot and dpo...confused:-)

I had ultrasound and two good follies , one each side:-) Dr did estradiol test and called and told me to trigger I did at 6 pm Thursday (19th) . I have also had positive opk weds night, Thurs am. I have been counting dpo from Thursday. My H says no because you O 24 hrs to 36 hrs later I should count Saturday as 1st dpo because I probably O,d sometime on Friday. I go for beta Friday( 3rd)..I tested this am bfn but H says it is to early :-) is he right ?

    I have no experience with trigger shots or anything, but it's very possible you O'd on Friday and your husband's calculations are correct.   It may just be too early to test yet :)

    It really varies on when you O after a trigger. Since you had a natural LH surge with the pos OPK, you probably O'd a little sooner. I've O'd as early as 12 hrs post trigger.. Either way, yes too early to test.

    TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:41 and BRCA1+, DH:46
    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
    5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
    OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
    DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
    DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    K & K born 11/21/14 at 38wks 4 days

    I think I probably O'd in middle of night ovaries and uterus killing me when I went to bed then Friday am I was fine ..clomid/trigger maybe...so your probably right to soon. The nurse said not to test just go by beta...yeah right:-) thanks ladies:-)
