*UPDATED* First u/s today and scared

I have my first u/s today. I am 6w2d. I am really scared. We never got this far before, but now I have these irrational thoughts that the transvaginal u/s is going to do harm. I know it won't, but Knowing that is not stopping pgal brain. It also doesn't help that for the last two nights I have had dreams about bleeding and miscarriage...even though I haven't been spotting at all. Two nights ago it was a miscarriage dream, but last night I didn't mc, just bled and had to go to the doctor d the u/s was causing irritation. I am praying that everything turns out okay today. UPDATE: it went fine! Sac and baby are measuring exactly 6w2d and the hb was 113. I will have one more u/s at the REs in two weeks (which will be more about viability according to the doc)and if everything goes well I will then graduate to the OB. In the end after all of those dreams, I didn't even have any spotting. After ours can we DH and I went to visit family out of town, so that is why my update had to wait until now and I am lacking paragraphs. Thank you everyone for e support, it was much needed and appreciated!

    So sorry you are having such bad dreams. Pgal brain messes with everything! Fx today goes great. I had vag us weekly from week 7-12 and it didn't hurt anyone. Not sure if that helps but just wanted to share that.

    5/12/2013 SURPRISE BFP! Natural cycle 
    7/11/2013 Panorama results Normal!!! Team Pink, partial previa moved up in 2nd tri9/5/13 (19w) AS scan shows short cervix, 2.5 cm 9/19 (21w)  Cervix is worse 1.87cm, bed rest 10/26 & 10/27 steroid shots 12/19 (35w) DX: SGA Baby went from 57% percentile to 18th percentile in 6 weeks. Weekly BPP and NST until she is here. 1/17/18 Growth scan puts Abby below 10th percent in size, low amniotic fluid, and less movement. Time to induce!

    Good luck! It won't cause any harm, but could irritate & cause spotting- get the dr to tell you that so you can play it back in your mind if you need to.

    Good luck today! I have had a transvaginal u/s every 2 weeks with this pregnancy and everything is fine. Please don't worry about that!

    Good luck! I had a tv us at 6w1d and didn't have any bleeding or spotting. I hope everything goes wonderfully and you see a cute, tiny flutter in there. Big ((hugs))!!

    Lots of testing, all clear with the exception of compound heterozygous for the MTHFR mutation. 

    Cycle 1: Femara, trigger shot, Bravelle added due to slow response = BFN
    Cycle 2: Cancelled due to two cysts =(
    Cycle 3: Femara, Bravelle, trigger shot and IUI = BFP then loss #3
    Cycle 4: Femara, Follistim, trigger shot and IUI = BFP!  EDD: 6/7/14

    Don't you wish you could just shut your brain off sometimes?  I know how you feel.  Good luck, chances are everything will be fine!

    Me 34 DH 31, Together since 2003, Married August 20, 2011,  TTC since May 2013
    BFP #1 August 24, 2013! MMC discovered Oct. 3, 2013, D&C Oct. 4, 2013
    BFP #2 December 17, 2013! MMC discovered Jan. 28, 2014, D&C Jan. 30, 2014
    Testing done: male with complete Trisomy 16, not hereditary. Tested me for clotting disorders, all normal.
    Feb. 2014 all clear again to TTC!  Will start progesterone supplementation with the next BFP just in case.       Oct. 2014 more testing just because, thyroid and autoimmune panels = normal.  Diagnostic U/S = no abnormalities.  Will keep trying for 3-6 more months, doctor still optimistic!

    BFP #3 December 11, 2014!  Beta #1 14DPO = 122.4 Beta #2 17DPO = 296.8 Please stick little one and be our Rainbow!

            Perfect little heartbeat of 156 seen 1/7/15 :)
