Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, this is my first time posting. I have a 4 month old that has been having issues with her ear for over a month now. We have been to 3 doctors and they all say her ear is fine. She had an ear infection in her other ear that has now been resolved and they suggest maybe she has just found her ear. As her mother I know there is something going on. At first she would grab it and claw at it while screaming in pain. Now she is fisting at it. We are going to see a fourth doctor next week. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. It is frustrating that I know there is a problem but the doctors think I am just crazy. I am hoping to get a referral to a ENT specialist but didn't know if someone else had similar problems? I hate it when our babies are hurting and there is nothing that can be done! Tylenol doesn't seem to offer any relief either. I am not convinced it's teething either because she targets one ear and I think pain relief would offer some comfort. Any ideas would be welcomed! Thanks so much and I hope everyone had happy holidays!
My first child had ear problems and I definitely get another opinion and go to an ENT. My daughter ended having to have tubes twice. It can be scary but the technology is amazing now.
