Is this normal? (Poop question)

Ok. So we are FF with Gerber Good Start Gentle. Well my little guy only poops once a day and sometimes will go two days until his next poop. When he does poop he grunts like he can't get it out but then it's not hard or anything and is usually a dark green color with yellow tints in it. Is this pretty normal with FF or should we go see the dr? Thanks!

    Normal. The dark green is from the iron supplementation in formula. The grunting/draining is bc babies and their bodies are still figuring out how to poop. The timing is also normal.

    Okay. Thanks. I just had to ask because being a first time mom I worry a lot. Probably too much, haha.

    My lo is on the same formula and we have the same experience as you describe. Our dr told us we can give her an ounce of pear juice everyday to help with pooping. We put it in her morning bottle. Works great.

    Normal. Talk to the doc about probiotics for LO. Helped DS immensely!
