I had my u/s today cd11. I've got a 15mm and a 15.5mm on the right, lining is a 7B. I know these aren't bad numbers, but I wonder why my RE has never increased meds? I just really wanted to have a good appt with like two 20mm follies! Gah. To top it off I'm guessing the ideal iui date is New Year's Day, and of course they're closed, so do it the day before or day after? Or both?

Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
 3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    Hmm.. Idk how both would work out in this case, there will be a day in between. I want to say definitely shoot for before. 

    Are you going to have another monitoring appt? CD11 is still pretty early so those follies have plenty of time to grow, it's not always good to increase the meds because it can put too much stress on your follies, better to stay low and let them grow on their own. I'm sure they will be over 20 by NYE.

    Yeah your follies will totally be big enough by New Years.  They tend to grow 1 to 2mm a day with meds, I would say you might go both, before and after New Years day??

    Thanks guys! I know they'll grow by then, I just wanted some big ol' gorgeous follies today! I still haven't gotten the official game plan, should hear in about an hour.

    It's weird they won't come in and do it for you. My doc said she would do an IUI whatever day is best. Last month it was Sunday and she wasn't even the doctor on call. Maybe she an exception but I would also question them about doing it on the perfect day opposed to a convenient day for them.

    They are only closed 4 holidays a year. I knew going into this cycle this could happen. It is what it is I guess!

    Ok everyone can finally relax, I heard from my RE's nurse. Triggering NYE and iui Jan. 2nd. I know everyone was on pins and needles I-)

    Have you ever done B2B IUIs, Jen? My place didn't even tell me it was an option until I went in for my IUI, and at that point there was no way H could come in the next morning to drop off another sample.. Eff you very much clinic.

    I never have, we do the one and then HIO that night and the next day usually. I wish they'd do another ultrasound before the trigger. I'd like verification of follie growth.
