Flu shot

I still haven't gotten mine.. From what I can see, as long as I get the inactivated shot (vs nasal spray) it's fine nursing.

Has anyone heard differently? I live 2 hrs from my OB so I'm just going to walgreens..

I BF; I got the preservative-free shot from Walgreens, like I did when I was pregnant. There is no reason besides that's what I asked for.

Both my OB and the pedi strongly recommended it, and they both know I BF.

Same here, I don't BF now but was when I got it and it was encouraged by the Doc.

Thanks ladies! Walgreens had it and I got it. LO got his booster this morning too. Fingers crossed we avoid the flu
