Spelling question: Bryn vs Brynn

We really like the name Bryn/Brynn for a girl but are not sure on the spelling. I've read that one n is the masculine version and two n's is the feminine version, so I'm leaning toward two n's. What do you think? Thanks for your responses!

  • To me, Bryn is an old Welsh dude, and Brynn is a young American girl. I like both names, but in your case, since you're having a young girl, I'd go with Brynn :)
  • The only girl I know with the name is Bryn, but I still prefer Brynn.
