Update: This was a chemical pregnancy :-( Merry Christmas to me! (Long .. BFP story)

So sad. Third day, I had two negative tests today, went to the doctors and my hcg was below 6. I'm not bleeding yet but I'm waiting for it. I was pregnant for 3 days during Christmas and it was wonderful.

This is me now:

Month/Cycle: 6/6

Timing: O, O-1, O-2, O-4, O-5 (according to FF). I think it was more like O+1, O, O-1, O-3, O-4

Symptoms: Sore boobs, some lightheadedness, and some cramping. Other than that, nothing really.

Testing: I still can't believe it. I thought for sure I was out this month given my usual cramps before AF. But my BFF is pregnant and she said she had cramping before her BFP so I kept testing. I got STARK white BFN's on WONDFO's 10,12-14 DPO and I figured I O'd later than FF had thought. I kept having high temps however, I've also been really sick with a bad, bad cold and figured I had a bit of a low grade fever. Then, on 14 DPO I was texting with my BFF and she was reminding me how WONDFO's aren't as sensitive as FRER's and why don't I try to PO that stick. On my way to the bathroom, bouncing down the stairs, I realized my boobs were really really sore. This is when I thought, wait, maybe this could really be happening!! So I peed on the FRER and within a minute I got a line. This morning I peed again and the line was much fainter, but it was still there. I really haven't processed it, but I guess we have 9 months for that (fingers crossed).

How I told DH/Family: DH was half asleep, but I walked in and brought our pup (Jillie) who was wearing a shirt that had a little bird on it that said "A little birdie told me I was going to be a Big Sister". He totally didn't get it and kept saying, "I thought we weren't getting another dog". When I started crying he finally got it and said "You're pregnant?!?", and immediately gave me a giant hug and kiss. Then he went into his office and spent 3 hours making an "End of the year" slide show for our family for Christmas as announce the pregnancy. It was great, a photo timeline of all the family's highs and lows including the loss of our grandmother and family dog and the addition of our nephew. At the end he put a picture of our dog and said "Now that all the presents are wrapped, Jillie has one more present for you all". And it was a picture of her in the birdie sweater. The family DIED. IT was wonderful. He did such a good job. Also today, he pulled me aside and said "I just want to tell you I feel a stronger connection to you now than in the 10 years we've known each other". It was sweet.

Mushy Stuff: I know everyone says this, but I really learned all that I know about TTC from you gals (and TCOYF). I wasn't super duper active, but I really appreciate all your advice on things like my career and when you helped with my anxiety issues I truly for once did not feel alone. And I'll definitely continue to lurk for my daily gif fix.
