My name is Brandy, Like all of you ladies I experienced a loss of my baby girl. Here name was Elika-Rayne and she was two weeks old when she passed. In some ways it wasn't a surprise but it still hurt then and now. She had a Genetic disorder called trisomy thirteen and it caused congenital heart failure. Me and my husband could have kept her on life support but we decided that we didn't want her to live like that so we let her go. She would have been four this year. I have two other children that have survived, a six year old boy and a two year old boy as well as a ten year old step-daughter and I am pregnant again.

I also want to say I am sorry for all of you ladies that have lost a little one in any fashion. No parent should ever have to bury their children but sadly it is happening more often lately.

    So sorry for your loss.  We also had a terminal diagnosis.  Expected or not, any death hurts.  Be gentle with yourself.  I'm so sorry that you are dealing with this too.

    Me: 32 DH: 33  High School Sweethearts  Married 5/28/2005
    DS1 born 6/5/10 at 40 weeks via emergency c-section due to fetal distress and IUGR caused by placental insufficiency
    DS2 born still 8/28/13 at 32 weeks via emergency c-section due to a complete placental abruption - cause unknown
    Baby #3 on the way, EDD 2/29/16.  Originally twins, but we said goodbye to Baby B at 8 weeks.
