Who else is POAS for Christmas?

It might be a little too early so I will try to remember that and not be sad if it's a BFN. But on the off chance that it isn't, what a great Christmas gift that would be!

I am trying to hold off until tomorrow morning...

Me! I'm testing tomorrow. This is a medicated cycle (Clomid + Ovidrel) so my RE's office told me to wait til December 28th to test. I tested out the trigger a couple days ago so I'm going to test tomorrow. I know there is a huge possibility of a BFN but I'm impatient. And addicted to POAS.

Merry Christmas! Wondfo was negative, which is what I expected. I bought some FRERs yesterday but will wait until next week to use them if AF doesn't arrive. Hope someone else gets a positive this morning!

I got the BFP this morning. Line was a little faint, but nothing like the BFNs of previous months. I wanted to post here, but didn't want to gloat. I'm excited, but hoping not to re-live the m/c we had 9 months ago. If this one doesn't stick, I think it may be the end of our line.

But on another note, please PM me if you would like a package of lucky OPKs as a New Year's gift. I opened the package and used one, but decided I'd already O'd and to hold onto them til next month. They are the cheapies from CVS (19 left), and should be used soon. I can't let anything go to waste, especially if they have good mojo.

Well I think my shot tested negative today...which would be at about 6 days past....might test Sunday and see what happens:-)

Just a word of advice, some of us here also participate on several other boards on the Bump, so it's in pretty bad taste to talk smack about them.

Gscoville: I meant no offence , I wasn't meaning to talk smack but I did post about my loss and was given very rude advice and they were right down mean:( took 5 months to find this board and join...so glad I did...but anyone that cross posts should no I wouldn't offend anyone for the world:-)

Was going to wait until NYE to use my first FRER to know whether to drink or not, but hubs and I decided to go to the casino today so I figured I should check (you know, free drinks and all). I think I am somewhere around 11 or 12 dpo, and it was a BFN. Expecting AF around NYE. Can't wait to start temping and get a better idea of timing next month between that and OPKs.

Sorry you got bfn:( I did to thought I was 10 dpo but ff says 9 and I didn't use fmu...you might want to hold out a couple days:) fx for us both!

Nope, I'm out. AF when I got home tonight. 2-3 days earlier than expected, so I guess I may have also O'd a few days earlier than I thought. First month off BC so wasn't sure how things would go anyway. Oh well, on to the next cycle armed with OPK's and ready to start temping and charting.

Which brings me to my next question...when should I start temping if today is CD1?

@gscoville, didn't mean it in a smack-talking way. I was just really caught off-guard by so many mean-spirited posts. It was intended to be a reflection of how helpful and supportive this board has been for me.

@heathereb23 I started temping on CD1 to get into the pattern of it.  Not really sure when to officially start...I think I've heard CD3?

Thanks, I figured it wouldn't hurt to start when I woke up this morning. I doubt my temp was accurate though, because I woke up at 6:30 to pee and didn't want to disturb DH with the beeping, so I didn't temp until I woke up again at 9:30 (coincidentally after another 3 hours of sleep!) but spent a few minutes fumbling with the BBT thermometer trying to get it to work. So today was a test run, hopefully I will get better at it! Also realized the beeping is not as loud as I had anticipated and it didn't take very long to register, so I don't think it will bother DH. Will get in the habit of doing it earlier and right when I wake up. Tough to get into a routine until I go back to work on Thursday, though.

I keep the thermometer and my iPhone next to my bed, to temp before I even roll out of bed. I use the iPhone light to see the results. As for when to start, anytime is good... it will give you practice and get the routine in place, and you'll get a feel for your normal temps. GL!!!
