Piriformis Syndrome with Pseudo Sciatica

That is the latest diagnosis as to why my right leg hurts so bad I can't walk or bend. If you thought moving around without any core muscles was hard, try no core muscles and no right leg. Argh! Ive been going to the chiro but I am getting the sneaking suspicion that the cure-all is going to be evicting LO... which means 2.5 more weeks which means I will officially go crazy. No real point, just a rant. Merry Christmas everyone

@rcultrona Just to let you know, I have piriformis syndrome too. I was going to the chiro for it for months before I knew what it was, but then once I found out what it is I realized the chiro can't really help it - chiros are more for bones and joints and I have no problems there. Piriformis syndrome is entirely a muscle issue - I started going to physiotherapy twice a week, and massage therapy here and there, and that has helped much more. I would recommend either of those over chiro for piriformis syndrome.

I have just figured this out too. If anything I think the multiple chiro appointments just made it worse. I have switched to heat, ice stretching and DH massage and am hoping that I can at least loosen it up knowing full well it will probably just continue until I can get this LO out and my hips back to normal. I am not looking forward to piriformis plus contractions though...
