Parenting after a Loss

Last year(previous loss mentioned)

So last year on Christmas Eve We announced to our family a pregnancy that I lost 3 days later. We were visiting family and had to fly home the day I lost our LO. I am so grateful that we have our little rainbow today he makes it a little easier. This will be my first christmas away from family, and I found out yesterday that my grandma is in the hospital again due to complications with her colon cancer. My husband just lost his uncle yesterday to a heart attack/stroke as well, so we are having a kind of emotional Christmas.
Trying to look to the good things and focus on DD and DS. There are a lot of gifts under the tree for them this year :O) It is kind of nice not having to stress about flying with an infant and toddler for 4 hours haha!

  • Big (((hugs))) to you and your DH. I will keep your grandmother in my prayers, as well as your DH and his whole family.
Like you said, try and focus on your awesome little ones, and make it as merry as possible.
