Toddler has RSV and I have a 3 month old

Please tell me there is someone out there that has had a toddler with RSV and an infant who managed to not get it.  Im super scared that my 3 month old will get RSV but so far we are on day 2 or 3 of being contagious and she seems ok.  Im super nervous about it but there is no way she was not exposed since he was just diagnosed yesterday and he has been coughing all over all of us.  Ugh....Merry Christmas

Well, neither of my toddlers have had RSV that I KNOW OF.  Past infancy it's kinda hard to tell I think.  By the time an adult gets it they may not even really acknowledge they are ill. 

I really hope your baby stays healthy because a sick kiddo sucks and the younger they are the suckier it is.  That being said your 3 month old can handle it better than they could have as a newborn.

I'm sorry you are dealing with kiddo colds!

I hope your LO feels better and the other one stays healthy!  Wash hands, disinfect and do the best you can to control it.  Good luck.

The day I came home with DD DS was diagnosed with strep. She was exposed hours after birth and also the following day. He wasn't allowed to hold her or kiss her until he was not contagious. I even got it, but she was fine.
Then when she was 7 weeks, or so, DH had influenza. She got a little cough, but that's it. I also bf and I had the vaccine, both helped protect her, but the same precautions, no contact, hand washing, sanitizing the house... will help your LO too.
