AF while on progesterone?

Has anyone else gotten AF while on progesterone? I suspected that the progesterone suppositories weren't doing much even though I have been taking it religiously every morning, but now AF has arrived right on time, confirming my failed cycle. Could this be a sign that the progesterone dosage was too low? I have to hand it to my body for doing everything just the way it should have. I expected my period to be all out of whack after being messed with so much, but exactly 14dpER, AF arrives like nothing happened in the meantime.

Me: 28, DH: 35
DX: Severe MFI, AZFc Microdeletion
TTC since August 2011
IVF w/ ICSI 1: Dec. 2013 - BFN
FET 1.2: Mar. 2014 - BFN
FET 1.3: May 2014 - BFN
FET 1.4: June 2014 - BFP

    I'm so sorry it didn't work out. I would ask your RE to check your progesterone levels when they do your beta. ((hugs))

    Thanks, Niki. I had them check the progesterone this morning, too, like you suggested. Happy Holidays! I will be keeping FX for you.

    Sooo very sorry! Your RE is probably going to want to move towards the alternative for your next cycle... PIO. Again, Sorry your cycle didnt work sweets. I'm hating this process for everyone right now.

    As far as the suppositories.... I never got my AF until I stopped using them. So likely your levels are too low :(

    Thanks, @IFinTN and @O2Girl. It kind of confirms what I thought, because this isn't just a little spotting, but AF in all her glory. I am kind of glad that I tested a couple days ago, because otherwise AF would have totally blindsided me. 

    @IFinTN, did upping the dosage work for your friend? Do you know if they switched her to PIO or just had her do more Crinone? 

    @O2Girl, I am kind of terrified of PIO, but after so many blood draws and IVs and injections, what's a couple more? I am definitely going to talk to him about this option. 

    I hope that we can all celebrate next Christmas together on PAIF.

    so sorry this didnt work out for you :( did u have a progesterone check in between ET and the Beta date? im on crinone at the moment and RE checked me at 4dp5dt and mine was super low at 4.7. they increased it from 1x a day to 2x a day. im hoping that does the trick :/

    For my IUIs i never made it to beta. I always got AF while still on progesterone. Sorry to hear this happen to you too. hugs :)
    TTC w/ pcos since 02/11

    01/13 fermara step up + iui=cancelled due to no response

    During my IUIs, I did get AF while on progesterone suppositories, it does happen. (Sorry my siggy won't update)
    Me: 32, DH: 34.
    Trying since Jan 2011. Unexplained IF.
    2 IUIs = BFN.
    1 IVF (Dec 2013) = BFN.
    FET, 2 frosties (June 13, 2014)

    14dp5dt-June 27 -BFP, beta 2061. 2nd beta >5000, 3rd beta >5000, 2 sacs 06/30.
    Twin Girls - 02/11/15 - at 37 weeks (no NICU, home with me at 3 days).

    I'm so so sorry! I understand how you feel. :(
    2013- 2 IVF cycles with PGD to prevent genetic disorder from being passed on. Both BFFN :(
