FP swing...clicking and squeaking noise

My LO is only 3 months old and I think my Fisher Price swing is already going bad. It makes a clicking sound and now just started also squeaking very loudly. It's so annoying but most of all worried that it is no longer safe. Anyone have this same issue and can it be fixed? I really hope spending $180 on it that it will last longer than 3 months!

Are the legs spread well apart? Ours got noisy if the legs weren't fully spread. Call FP- if it's the motor, they will send you a new one.

F-P swings are known to have motor issues. Our Snugabunny swing lasted six months before the motor on it died. Fortunately, F-P has excellent customer service, and they sent us a replacement motor for free. If spreading the swing legs apart doesn't resolve the creaking or squeaking, it may be worth calling now to get a replacement. The motor was on back order when ours died and took over three weeks to arrive. We just packed it all away for baby #2 at that point.
