You need 2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 3/4 cup water (maybe a little more if it is too dry), I also added a little bit of cinnamon to make them smell good.
Knead the dough, roll it out to about 1/2 inch for handprint ornaments, decorate and bake at 200 degree for 20-30 minutes and flip half way through.
If they are still a little soft you can leave them on the counter overnight to harden. The ornaments we made last year are still in great shape. I do remember from last year that you want to use the dough right away or else it didnt work. Have fun!
i think we'll do this with B tomorrow morning. we aren't having "christmas" until thursday with the girls. SD is with her mom until tomorrow night at 9. they do look awesome!!
ps B just walked over to the screen and pointed to Emma in your signature and said "whats that" and i said thats Emma and she said "hiiiIIIIIiiiii bayyyy beeeee" lol
@chricast me neither!! i made 3 ornaments, and it was a nightmare. B screamed as if someone was chopping her arms off when we put her hands in the clay. completely lost it!! so weird.
