I don't really love Stephanie, but I don't hate it.  It's MIL's name, so it could be a contender as a girl's name if we couldn't agree on anything else.

Others that I don't find all that terrible---Michelle, Heather, Rebecca, Megan, Alison.

I actually like Amber. Wouldn't use it, but I like it. The only one I would consider using is Rebecca. I actually mentioned it to H as an option but he vetoed.

Also, I think of Kayla more as a 90's or even a 2000's name.

I made the name generator myself-- and Sarah is such a timeless name that I felt like it wouldn't be funny, KWIM?

I agree about Kayla-- it's much more of a 90s name IMO, but it was in the top 100 names for most of the 80s (and was a top 25 name in the late 80s!)
