Re: **2IF Grad Check-In**
22 weeks and doing good. Baby girl is kicking a lot which feels like such a miracle and blessing. I still think about all the deserving ladies on 2IF (and IF) and lurk on 2IF a lot, and it makes me feel unworthy to be here, if that makes sense.
QOTW: We came up with a name a couple of months ago, and it wasn't too hard to come up with strangely. I suggested Caroline as a first name, but DH gave me a look and said, "Sweet Caroline, seriously?" (like the song). But after thinking about it, he ended up liking it. After hearing DS use the name one day, it was the most beautiful sound in the world hearing that name said by him. So it has stuck. For the middle name, DH suggested one that happens to be my grandmother's first name, so that was an easy one too. I know it's usually a harder decision for couples, so I'm relieved we managed this one without an argument.
Note: Don't feel pressured to tell us the name you picked. I know you might want to keep it under wraps until delivery day!

35.4 weeks here and feeling huge and extremely uncomfortable....so ready to meet this little girl! Had an appointment last week and officially scheduled our C-section for 1/16 so we will be meeting her in 3 weeks at the latest. Have another appointment this Friday to check the placenta again, but not planning on anything changing as far as needing a C-section. Hoping to get some answers as to how my cervix is holding up....may give us some indication if baby girl will be coming early or if we will actually make it to the end!
QOTW: Have you started thinking about names yet? Will/Did you pick a name with family significance? Are you and YH having a hard time with this?
Fortunately DH and I were able to agree on names a bit easier this time around than with DD #1. We decided on Harper for a 1st name (no real reason other than we like it and thinks it goes well with DD's name and fits our family) and Faith as a MN (as an ode to our struggle with 2IF).
Merry Christmas to all!

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Still holding steady on hospital BR. Babies are happy so far and growing well. Still no contractions, yay! Sucks to be spending Christmas here, but it's just one of many more to come.
3. How are you feeling lately? Blah. Kind of nauseated, but that may be due to different food, etc.
4. QOTW: Have you started thinking about names yet? Will/Did you pick a name with family significance? Are you and YH having a hard time with this? Names are so hard for us, especially boy names. Everything I suggest, DH shoots down. I'm hoping if we have 2 girl names and 2 boy names ready, that we'll be covered! Our 2 girl names do have family significance.

It's triplets!!
2.) I had my first u/s with my RE last week & I will have another one next week & if all looks good, I will be graduating to my OB.
3.) m/s is just starting to kick in but so far it has been pretty manageable. It only creeps up on me if I let my stomach get too empty. No throwing up, just nausea. Overall, I've been very lucky as my symptoms have been fairly tame.
4.) We talked about names a lot this weekend. We are pretty set on our girl name, Isla Hope. But if it's a boy, we have about 5-6 names we've been bouncing around. No family names except if it's a boy his MN will be Jeffery after MH.
*I have my A/S on 1/2, but my OB office called Friday and wanted me to come in for an U/S ASAP. I did the initial genetic screen testing two weeks ago while I was having blood drawn for my early glucose test and the screening flagged/showed possible for Down Syndrome. During the U/S she didn't see any markers for Downs, but gave me some options and I decided on the MaterniT21 blood test. Now we wait 2 weeks for the results to come back. I'm freaking out. Thoughts and prayers are Much appreciated.
*Feeling pretty great, physically anyways. I started feeling movement this week which is awesome.
*We're having another boy so his MN will be Donald after my dad who passed away. Still narrowing down a first name, but our top two contenders (this week) are Ian and Liam.
No major news other than the relieving test results from our panorama. Feeling so blessed. Next appointment is Friday.
I'm feeling pretty good these days. More energy, stress free (I'm on vacation for 2 weeks), etc. Heartburn is still an issue but manageable. Can't wait for Christmas!
DH and I like Lucy for a girl. Still unsure of middle name. DH loves George for a boy and always has. It's a bit old fashioned for me. I like Everett or Henry. Our favorite movie is its a wonderful life and the other night we saw it on the big screen. I may give in to George and get a "George lassoes the moon" art piece for the nursery
TTC #1 4/2009 - DD 2/5/10
TTC #2 since October 2011
2IF issues
2. I had my final appt with my RE this morning. I have officially been discharged!
3. I feel nauseous, but haven't thrown up. And the exhaustion has set in.
4. If it's a boy, his name will be Nicholas (after MH's dad who passed away). No idea what the middle name will be. If it's a girl, we're in trouble b/c we can't agree. The one name we both like (Paige), we won't use b/c it's too similar to DD's name (Payton).
So glad things are looking up!
1. How many weeks along are you? 10w2d
2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? No appt until next Friday so just hoping all is ok!
3. How are you feeling lately? Ok, some days the nausea is really bad still. And today I had my first horrible nose bleed of this pregnancy. I got them all the time with DS and I hate seeing so much blood from my nose!
4. QOTW: Have you started thinking about names yet? Will/Did you pick a name with family significance? Are you and YH having a hard time with this? We have been thinking of names for the past 3 years, but our list is always changing! Right now our favorite boy name is Henry and favorite girl name is Rosalie. We also really like Lorelei for a girl, but I am worried it is too big a name for a baby and not sure of a good nickname. Middle names will be family names.
