So I was reading the post about sleeping with blankets by
@wasnotwas, and was so glad to see people have success with this. My question--is my LO the only baby who intentionally tries to suffocate himself with any type of blanket material? Whether it is a burp cloth, bib, blanket on the floor, blankie attached to animal, ANYTHING, as soon as he gets his little hands on it he immediately places it over his entire face. It is terrifying to watch! I started taking pictures of him doing it and text them to DH during the day labeled as "LO's death attempts". I figured all babies do this but...maybe not? He does it in a daredevil kind of way--like once the fabric is covering his face he then starts breathing hard and flailing his arms and kicking his legs, like he is excited.
