Toddler Beds

Hey! I'm new to the board. We are getting ready to transition DS into a toddler bed. The one we really like is at Target. The thing I can't figure out is do the mattresses come with the beds? I searched on the site for toddler bed mattresses but the only thing that came up were the beds which leads me to believe they are included. Any information would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

    Toddler bed mattresses are just crib matresses. With ds we just converted his crib however he didn't like it.
    We got him a twin size bed once we switched his room right before dd was born. He loved it!

    Like PPs said, all the toddler beds I've looked at take a crib mattress.

    My advice is skip the toddler bed. The twin bed with a double rail is more comfortable and if you need to lay with them for any reason at night there's far more room to cuddle for a story or to lay with a sick kiddo.
