Moms in and near Bellingham

I'm brand new to the area (new to the state as a matter of fact) and am still getting to know people. I'm due with my first little one in a few months and would love to meet other moms in the area! I live near Bellingham, about 20 minutes north. Any mommy groups, MOPS programs, playgroups, etc?

I am about 20 minutes south of Bellingham, but I am sure there should be a MOPS group nearby (https://www.mops.org/).  I also recommend Stroller Strides, I know they have classes in Bellingham (workout class for moms that includes your child), https://fit4mom.com/.  Hope that helps!  Welcome to Washington!

@Nbishop4 - I live south of Bellingham, and am totally in the same boat. Pretty new to the area and trying to get to know people-- doesn't help to work from home. The Bellingham moms for moms forum that @flyinmommy posted seems great, I joined that forum recently myself. I also want to sign up for some birthing classes, as that seems like a good way to get to know other preggo moms, so that might be a good tip.  Prenatal yoga might also be a good option. They do a class at 3 Oms in Bellingham that's supposed to be great. I do one here in Mount Vernon that I really like, too.

@dh97 - Those seem like great resources! I've never heard of MOPS. Is that for moms with young babies, do you know, or just preschool aged kiddos? Thanks for the great recommendations!

MOPS is for moms with kids age newborn - kindergarten.  I joined when my daughter was a little over a year old.  It has been a great way to meet other moms, as I recently moved to the area.

Continuous motion also does pregnancy classes and post baby classes that are great. I am 7 weeks with number 4 so I plan to hit them up in a couple months.
