Re: Friday bedrest checkin

  • I slept better last night. I have been so tired lately, not sure if it's a third trimester thing or not?

Its my dh last day for two weeks!! He will still have over a week off once I stop my meds so if I deliver he will for surely be with me and I won't have to worry about getting a hold off him! Were going to finish getting ready for baby this weekend. Need to buy a couple more items and clothes. Thankfully we got basically all our practical items at our showers but really no clothes. Which is fine I have a lot of gift cards and buying clothes is fun!! We also need to install our car seat and we will be ready!

I think I am going to use a electric wheel chair at one store (we have two were going to) I don't want to over do it. I don't want baby quite yet.

My dh was my first serious relationship. I dated a couple guys before him but nothing crazy mainly a few dates. I was picky.

@jandm when are they taking you off bedrest? Your almost 36 weeks right!?

  • I slept well!  4 days until my cerclage removal.  I'm a ball of nerves but trying to research some ways to get through the pain.  Everything has been so sensitive down there that I haven't had any kind of an exam since I was 27 weeks so I'm shaking in my boots.

I would say that I had two other relationships where I thought I was 'in love', one lasted over a year and the other one was about 8 months.  I realized how wrong I was once I met my husband.  I was a senior in high school, we have now been together 10 years and I'm still crazy about him.

@Roses:  Last Friday my doctor gave me the ok to move around a bit more.  I did for a couple of days but it brought on tons of cramping, pressure, and pulling on my stitch.  I have gone back to strict bed rest until after my stitch is out.  I didn't want to risk tearing or going into labor while it was still in.  Enjoy the time with your hubby and shopping for your little one!  I wish I had the patience to be team green but I'm so type A it's not even funny.  :)

  • @Roses-Clothes shopping is so fun, enjoy!  And definitely use the electric carts, they look fun :-)
@JandM-So close to getting the stitch out and getting out of bed!  Exciting!

So glad to be home and doing light activity.  Also making me realize how much I need to build up my stamina once all is said and done.  Getting out of breath very quickly!

QOTD: I had one long term relationship in high school and then nothing until I met my husband senior year in college.  Been together over 13 Years!
