Cuteness overload!

DH and I got our puppy today! I'm not a fan of breeding, but DH is a big hunter and they use labs. So we agreed that we would have one rescue dog, and one purebred hunting lab.

I thought we were getting a chocolate male, but there was a misunderstanding and we got the black male. So here is Buckley (Buck)!

@uconnhuskie007 I'm not sure! That was taken at my in-laws' last night. We had to go show him off Your fur baby is super cute!

Ok I must share two more because you can see his face better. Oh and my pit mix loves the new pup! My cat, not so much!

So cute!

We have two dogs and a cat. Our older dog is a shar pei mix that looks A LOT like your mix dog. Our younger dog is 4 and she is a golden retriever. We got her through a rescue but she is pure bred. OMG the hair. It is like nothing I have ever seen. We brush her every day and still our whole house seems coated. Thank goodness for Sebo vacuums or I would go nuts. But the amazing personalities of labs/goldens makes it worth it.  She is the easiest sweetest dog and I can't imagine our family without her. She made our older dog a better dog and some of her gentle spirit rubbed off. Thankfully we have just learned to have light furnishings and clothes so you can't see the layers of hair.. we even took her hair into consideration when choosing carpet. I am a clean freak and it drives me batty. 

But, we will never ever ever have another one. Ever. Too much hair. Maybe a labradoodle or something.
