Anyone have a girl with the heart rate around 130-140?

I'm almost 18 weeks and I've only had one heart rate hearing. When I went about a week ago it was around 130. I've heard so much about this old wives tale that says under 140 is a boy and over is a girl. Obviously it's an OWT and I've seen a lot of people saying they've had boys with higher heart rates but not really and girls with lower. So I'm curious since it makes me think I'm definitely having a boy.

My MIL was team green with my hubby and he always had a high heartbeat. It means nothing but you have a 50% chance of being right.

Heart rate means nothing.

Both babies averaged 140-165 BPM. One is a boy & one is a girl.

Heart rate checks over the last two weeks: 135, 160, 140, 145, 140. (Two appointments and a procedure that required before during and after) And it's a girl. It was higher (160's) earlier in the pregnancy but seems to be settling down as I move towards the halfway point.

I'm having a girl and the heart rate has been anywhere from 140-170. All babes are different.

The first time I heard my baby boy's heartbeat, it was 160... And stayed above 140 every other time it's been checked!

My girl came in at 139 this past Tuesday.  The first time we ever heard her at 10 weeks she was at 154...

All three of mine were 130-150...I have a girl and two boys.

OWT and "Chinese Gender Prediction" charts have 50-50 chances of getting it right. Look for fun, but don't really count on the answers.

It really means nothing.  My 3 have all been over 140 - 2 boys and a girl

I counted mine out yesterday and it came to 138. Lowest it's ever been. Usually stays in the 150s

Oh and at 10 weeks she was between 178-190

My little girl varied. The first appt at 8 weeks, it was around 160. Then at a few other appointments, it ranged from 130-150. At two of my appts, it was around 130. But my doctor said to not rely on that - it all depends on if they're sleeping or active.

im having a girl... her rate has been between 130-140 for the past few weeks. it was around 160 in our first tri, but has slowed & stayed steady in the 130-140 range. just an old wives tale

I'm in the second trimester. Almost 18 weeks. This was the first time I heard the heart beat and it was super fast to find, so I guess it's possible he or she was sleeping.

This LO has a high heart rate. My ob joked that it means it's a girl, DH and I started laughing. Our son had a high heart rate my entire pregnancy. Heart rate isn't a good indicator of gender.

DS was always over 140, as was DH. This one (looks like a girl!) was right at 140 last time. Average fetal HR is usually higher, like 165, in the first trimester, then typically settles around 140 for the remainder of the pregnancy.

My boys have always had higher heart rates, like 140-160.  I have 3 of them.

My daughter's average heart rate was 164-170, with the few exceptions of once it was 140, once it was 150, once it was 154, and the day I found out she was a SHE it was 130.

We are having a girl and at our 20 week appointment her heart rate was 147.

My friend's girl never went above 140, and I'm having a little boy who is always around 150 and has actually been as high before as 174. This is one of the least accurate OWTs from what I know!

DS's HR was around 140 from 12w on. This time it's been around 156-165. We find out the sex next Friday.

Our baby girl has stayed right around 140 other than at our 12 week appointment--she was at 159

My first girl was 145 generally and this baby is also a girl and at our last appointment she was 138.

I've already commented but had my check up yesterday and her heartbeat was 152.

Both my girls were in the 130-135 range the whole time. Now it's another girl and she's been in the 150s.

Just thought I would come back in and say that I'm pretty sure my baby is staying in the 150's. She was there on Monday and Tuesday at both dcotors appointments

My girl's heart rate has been in the high 140s. My son's heart rate ranged from 160-174. OWTs aren't reliable. Your odds are still 50/50.

When my mom was carrying me they swore I was going to be a boy based on my heartbeat but, yeah, nope, not the case. I wouldn't read anything into it at this point, you are at 19 weeks so you should be able to find out soon enough

I'm having a boy and a girl.  The girl's hb is almost always lower than the boy's, and she's more active as well.  Wives' tale.

We are def. having a girl. Her heartrate lingers around 140

My little guys heart rate has been between 150 and 160 since the beginning….I thought I was having a girl because of that but it is certainly not the case.

My sons HR was always around 140. I'm having a girl this time and her HR has always been between 150-165 It's an old wives tale. But in both my cases it was true. I know ppl who had a boy with the HR Always being around 160.
