Is store bought egg nog ok to drink being pregnant ?

I was wondering if we can drink store bought eggnog and if yes how much per day should not be harmful ?

As far as I've read yes if it's a big name/store brand because it's doesn't have raw egg. It's the raw egg that you need to worry about.

I was told store bought is good. I was looking into them last time and i think the labels actually say if it's pasteurized.

I've been drinking it. My store bought stuff says "ultra pasteurized" in the carton so I am assuming it is totally safe. I have been loving it!

Yes. Most eggnog will say pasteurized if it's from the store.

I am sucking down pumpkin egg nog from the store constantly!

Funny thing is, I hated egg nog before pregnancy, now I get a little jug every time I go shopping!

I double checked with my OB and she said as long as it's pasteurized, it's fine.

I picked up some Conconut Milk Nog and it's really good.   The other items I checked in the store still had egg whites in it, so I thought this was the safer bet.
