Minky crib sheets - worth it?

I'm considering getting the minky top sheet for our cloud & stars quick zip sheet set. My little guy loves to snuggle with his little blankie, so I'm thinking it may help him sleep better (let's face it, we will try most anything - he goes down easy for bed, awake a lot of the time, but is still up 5x night, eating 3 of those time!) Anyone have a minky sheet? Is it worth it?

We have one and it is the only one I'll use out of the 6 sheets we have. He snuggles his face into it to fall asleep and to get himself back to sleep in the middle of the night. I'm going to make one from fabric from Joanns which will cost about $15 to make. I need a back-up!

My girl loves it, and definitely notices when a regular sheet is put on her bed.

This is why I've been hesitant to get it. I don't want him to get used to only using that.

Loves his. I keep my eye out on Zulily for another sale. I had to take it off to wash and pack it for Nanas house and last night I put him down on a regular sheet and he just gave me the WTF Ma? Look.

We have 2 of the pottery barn kids chamois sheets. Soooo worth it. They have a few on sale right - like half off which is an awesome deal!
