By request, this is a special weekly check-in on Thursdays is for all of us who have crossed into our 40's. We all hang out on TTC after 35, but we all know that once you hit your fabulous 40's and are TTC it is just different.

There is a regular Weekly Check In on Wednesdays for all on this board, so feel free to post on both check ins if you like. If you are completely new to the TTC after 35 board and haven't done a formal intro please do that before posting here!

2. Since Fall of 2009, but with assistance since spring of 2012

4. Natural this cycle, until we get the go ahead for next IVF cycle

5. Went in for a post miscarriage shg and my cervix wasn't dialted enough so catheter couldn't be put in for the test. This is nothing new and the doc generally prescribes a valium to help relax everything down there, but they forgot or something. Total waste of time and quite an irritating procedure while he tried to make it work.

I haven't quite figured it out yet. Will have a lot of family around soon and I'm hoping my fertility is not the topic of choice this year. Gotta think of a nice way to shut it down if it does happen.

2WW... I don't like BFNs, so I don't usually test right away. Maybe I will test for Xmas, just in case.

Interesting,.... I don't feel like I have anything really getting me irked. Not feeling overly up either; but happy to report that no venting is necessary.

1)Samuelismomma (Sally),Indiana 2) 7 months with two losses 3) Opk positive...u/s today 2 follicles , doing trigger shot tonight! 4) cycle with clomid, trigger shot, then progesterone supp. 5)already vented lol on another thread!...but now strangely optimistic;) 6) staying thankful for what I have this holiday;) and having ppl around that keep me peaceful!

Weekly Vent - All the cards we're getting showing happy families and pictures of the kids. I love these family and friends, but ugh, just ugh.

NTA....ha! more or less ignoring said friends and family this holiday season. We usually do a lot of traveling to see everyone and this year we told everyone we're staying home. Most of the close people know we're doing IVF and are understanding of our decision. It's really taken tons of stress off me this time!

4. What type of TTC are you doing? (IVF, IUI, Natural... etc).  Natural cycle.  Had two follicles on CD9.  Seeing a new REI.  Trying to figure out if I can conceive on my own still.

Dh just read in the paper that some guy is holding 6 paying public servant jobs, so he is making over $240 k a year. One is full time and the others are part time....yet Dh and I are trying to figure out how to make ends meet and pay both our health ins & credit cards.

2WW, period due 1/1, I'll test on 1/2 but am not expecting that this will be our cycle

I *hate* it when people don't shovel their sidewalks.  We take our dog out for a walk every day, and take the girls when the weather is nice enough, and when people don't shovel their sidewalks it's *so* much harder to do!

I'm not going to worry about the little stuff, or about everything being perfect.  Just being with the people I love will be enough.

Haven't lost the baby weight from #1 and TTC. When will I feel like myself again?
