With the baby coming I definitely want to start keeping the house cleaner - and not letting the laundry pile up like I do. We'll see how successful I am!

Work harder at my business and maybe make a bit more money this next year. If I can really get it up and running I can be a SAHM for the first few years. Yay!
Keep a cleaner house and lose weight...both pretty standard resolutions. I don't actually consider them resolutions though since I try doing that all the time. :P

Yup yup same here. but I was looking at my skinney ass in out wedding pics, I sooo need to lose some weight.
I plan to find a church.... I really want to get back to believing in God. Also I would like to keep a cleaner/organized home and shed some of my weight...I'm also thinking of going back on BC for the next year and just really figure out what DH and I want with our life... We can't make up our minds whether we want to live in the north or the south... DH is going back to Grad school and I really should go back as well. So much to decide...I'm thinking Decision 2009 is going to be my "motto".
Hey if it happens maybe my DH can get you off since he's an attorney lol.
I would love for your husband to "get me off" lol. Actually...I don't mind a tiny bit of jail time,s o long that I still get the life insurance pay out.

hmm good point. And you go to the jail where martha stewart and those types go - with cable tv and nice gyms!
Certainly never going to happen for DH and I. I hope you can make that a success!
Hahahah same here hee.
DH and I could save that plus but that would require us not to pay any bills---there for not worth putting our credit in the toilet for that in the bank account :0)
We are 1. trying to save for a down payment on a new house due to relocation and 2. trying to live off of one salary in anticipation of me having a baby in the next year or so.
Thankfully, I bought my house on my salary alone a few years ago, so it is doable, but we got used to living off of double salary last year and need to reign back our spending and save more now.

That would be almost every common family in America.... It now takes 2 incomes to raise a family in this economy...sad! But congrats if you can achieve that goal!
Not kill anyone. I've had the same resolution for about 10 years and so far, so good. Though, with the stupidity of some people, I truly wonder how I've made it this long.

I have been thinking about this this week. I am not a big resolution person, but I do have one this year:
Try to focus more on me and other things in my life (my house, friends, books) rather than the constant obsession with TTC. We were so excited to start in April that I threw myself in full tilt, and now I feel like I've lost myself in the constant worrying about ovulation, 2ww, etc. I want to have more of an attitude of observation and letting it happen. Hopefully we will be blessed with a pregnancy in the next several months, but this resolution might be hard to keep if we're seeing doctors in the middle of the year.
Unfortunately my resolution leads to spending less time on here, which is why I haven't posted in a few weeks and my siggy is kind of outdated.

Start flirting with the stairmaster again.
Oy, and find my sometimes MIA libido.
To not make any new years resolutions... shit, I already broke it.
1. Lose the baby weight
2. Work on letting go of family issues/constant drama (hello therapy!)
3. Even in the midst of being a new mom, never forget to let DH know how much I love and appreciate him. Corny, I know.?
hmm good point. And you go to the jail where martha stewart and those types go - with cable tv and nice gyms!
1. Live my best life (eat well, exercise 5 days a week, do more of the things I love).
2. Build my 9-5 career, while at the same time build my business
3. Help DH reach his career goals
4. Keep some of my in-laws close, my family closer, and the formerly in- now out-laws at a distance.?

We just discussed our goals over dinner.
1. Lose 20 - 30 lbs each
2. Save $50K for the year.
3. Sell our current house and move to Dallas
4. Get pregnant.
Hmm.... 1 is doable, 2 not terrible, 3 has to happen, 4 no control really I guess.
Certainly never going to happen for DH and I. I hope you can make that a success!
