    3.  CD1

    5.  Natural cycle before IVF so really no hope

    Bonus Question:
What holiday tradition are you most looking forward to doing with your child ( or future child)?
Christmas morning all dressed up in cute pjs unwrapping gifts with family.... I can't wait to do that one day with a child of my own. It hurts that won't happen this Christmas.  If we didn't have a mc I would be 8 months pregnant so it is extra tough this year.

    4.  Experiencing any weird  "phantom" symptoms ladies in your 2ww?

Not yet - just some mild cramping - but that is probably still from the ER on Friday.

    5.  How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)

    Cautiously optimistic

    Bonus Question:
What holiday tradition are you most looking forward to doing with your child ( or future child)?

I haven't really thought that far ahead yet since we don't want to get our hopes up.

    3.  Where are you in your cycle? If in the 2ww  when will you test? ( Waiting to O, 2WW etc) I am in the TWW--9 DPO and spotting today. What the heck?

    4.  Experiencing any weird  "phantom" symptoms ladies in your 2ww?  Just a nasty, nasty cold.  It hit me so hard and so fast yesterday that I was convinced I had the flu and went to the doctor. I was negative for flu, negative for strep, and after my spotting today, I'm guessing I'm negative for pregnancy, too.

    5.  How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc) This is not our cycle.

    Bonus Question:
What holiday tradition are you most looking forward to doing with your child ( or future child)?  We need to figure this out.  I feel like we bounce around our families around Christmas and haven't taken any time to plan out any special traditions that are all our own.  LO is 2 1/2, so we need to get on this soon.

    2.   How long have you been TTC?  This our fourth cycle since getting my first pp period.

    3.  Where are you in your cycle? If in the 2ww  when will you test? ( Waiting to O, 2WW etc) 2ww. AF due any day now. Was due today, based on my cycles being shorter ie today is CD 27, but before DD2, my cycles were normally 28 - 30 days, so maybe my periods are going to settle back into their old routine? POAS last night, BFN. Won't test again unless I get to 30 days.

    4.  Experiencing any weird  "phantom" symptoms ladies in your 2ww? Yes cramping , which is weird for me, but obviously could be menstrual cramps so ignoring them.

    5.  How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc) Zero hope. We've had sex once.

    Bonus Question:
What holiday tradition are you most looking forward to doing with your child ( or future child)? Baking, and decorating the tree

I am so sorry if the question hurt you.... honestly I hate that question too... I am trying to be more positive and sometimes visualizing the future helps, but I should have been more sensitive and realized not everyone feels that way.  I will not ask questions like that in the future. so sorry (hugs)

    5. This is a natural cycle before we move to medicated/trigger O and IUI. I feel pretty good right now; I'm Oing on time this cycle, which is awesome - I'm attributing that to some diet changes and acupuncture. We were going to wait this cycle, but decided to give it a shot. You never know if this will be the lucky/successful cycle.

What holiday tradition are you most looking forward to doing with your child (or future child)?
The magic of Christmas Eve, and the excitement of that magic. My most magical adult Christmas was with my foster son (4 years old) last year. It wore me out with the shopping, baking, anticipation, Elf On The Shelf, decorating, but was totally worth it to see him have a perfect, magical Christmas experience. And my family completely spoiled him - so, well, well worth it. Can't wait to have that with my own littles one day.

  • ksgsmu  It's ok, I know you meant no harm.  I just chose not to go down that path for my own sanity.  I realize many on here already have LOs or have no issue with dreaming of having their own one day. Personally, I try to refrain.

  • BeckyP005 - I am going to try to wait until the b/t on the 30th - that will be 12 days post transfer.  Try being the key word!  The RE and nurse both told me they discourage POAS since you could potentially get a false positive and then be devastated if the b/t comes back negative.  I know I would be heartbroken, so I am going to TRY to wait it out.  I say this now but I am sure by next weekend I will be doing everything in my power to keep from POAS!

  • czarmom Can I share with you?  With my Oct round of IVF I couldn't wait either so I POAS a few days early. It was BFN.  Then I started spotting a bit more than I thought I should be.  I was so upset and inconsolable as I thought it did not work.  Two days after was my beta and it was BFP.  Even though I ended up with a loss, I learned my lesson that I will always wait for the official beta.  There is no sense in putting myself on an additioanl rollercoaster ride.  However,  positive thoughts for you know matter what you decide.  Ultimately we all have to make our own choice.
