....alone, do you go out to eat alone?

I am in a gorgeous part of the country for a week. I don't leave work till after the sun set though. Plus my body clock is way off and I am ready for bed around six. All I want to do is order room service and veg out. But I feel lame and somewhat guilty about not getting out a exploring a bit. I think I would feel differently if it wasn't so dark...

The first night I get room service and go to bed early, then I will try the town the next night :-)

Before kids I always tried to find something to see or explore. A shopping district, used book store or just a good local restaurant. After kids I eat room service or fast food while laying in bed and then just sleep.

Thanks for sharing ladies. I didn't realize how weird it would be to be alone all night, lol.
Tonight I decided to dine in the hotel restaurant. Sitting here surrounded by at least four other solo diners. Keeping each other company in our loneliness, ha.

I definitely tried great restaurants alone before kids. I would go and sit at the bar to eat. Now that I have a little one, I am all about the alone time and room service!

Depended where I was and my mood. Sometimes I would go out, sometimes hello room service or takeout.
