This sounds crazy, but I said c-section. Reason being, my labor with DS was like the holy grail of inductions. I progressed well, my water broke on it's own 6 hours after starting Pitocin, I pushed for 15 minutes, and that was it. I was up walking around the room with minimal soreness an hour after he was born.
I'm not banking on getting lucky twice.
I agree with you, that sounds crazy. You would never be allowed to just have a c section in my country, for the reason "my last birth was perfect".
I'm not electing for a c-section. I'm preparing myself for the outcome of a c-section because I doubt I'll get lucky enough to have 2 easy births.
Edited to add: Apologies for not reading the question as a literal "what kind of birth are you having" inquiry. In my case, I won't know what kind of birth I'm having until I'm actually fucking. having. it. And congrats to you on living in New Zealand where blah blah blah.

Ideally, I'll go into labor around 8 am on a Thursday morning, take DD to day care, go to hospital and have baby (vaginally) by 5 pm so DH can go pick her up and take her home. Since it's a Thursday, he'll have a 4 day weekend with us and can go back to work on Monday like he wants to do. I think maybe I'm being a tad too specific...
