Re: ~~Second Tri Check-in~~ Dec 17
Update: My trip was great, but busy. I have had the “travel bug” since I was pretty young and this baby seems to have turned me into a home-body. Pretty much the entire time I was away, I couldn’t wait to get home. DH and I spent a few days in Paris by ourselves before heading off to the wedding in London. That was when the exhausting part began!
On an exciting note, I made it to V-day! It was yesterday and I can’t believe it. Still a long way to go, but it feels more real every day.
QOTW: DH would be a bear. He has two sides, the side that is sensitive and intelligent, and the dominant side that never backs down from an opponent and would potentially batter someone into submission (not physically in his case) just for the rush of it. And he’s strong, too.

It's triplets!!
No updates. How boring lol a/s in a week and a half
QOTW: hmmm I would say MH is like a killer whale. Trainable, sensitive, sweet but every one forgets that he can be mean. And he loves the ocean.
Hi all! 23w4d here. Have another appt on Thursday and have to do the 1 hour GTT (bleh), but on a positive note we are getting a freebie u/s since the tech couldn't get all the measurements they needed at our 20w a/s. Everything is going well so far, been pretty uneventful which we are very thankful for.
QOTW - he would be a gorilla, sometimes he does a gorilla walk and i die laughing
**Warning - Child Mentioned**
Me: 33, DH: 39 Unexplained Infertility
4 IUIs (chlomid) in 2013 which resulted in DS born in April 2014
TTC #2 since August 2015
5 rounds of IUIs (1 chlomid: resistent, 1 femara, 3 gonal f) = all BFN
ER March 9: 26 eggs retrieved, 19 mature and 17 fertilized, 8 made it to genetic testing, 4 normal!
FET #1 5/31 = BFN
FET#2 7/26 = BFP!
DH would be an emperor penguin for sure. They are such good daddies and husbands, nesting the eggs on their feet while mama eats (I am one hungry mama). DH is very protective and sweet like that, and a good partner. Plus, I can picture him sliding around on his belly on the ice.... Just sounds like something he would like to do.
Me: 42. DH: 46.
1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.
2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.
3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.
4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.
5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.
Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN. After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.
August 16, 2013: BFP our first month of "not trying!" Still in shock. Beta #1 (14dpo): 183. Beta #2 (17dpo): 611. Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm!
Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
Baby is due 4/26/14
TTC #1 4/2009 - DD 2/5/10
TTC #2 since October 2011
2IF issues
How far along are you this week?
24 weeks and change
Any appointments or other updates?
Just had my 24 week appointment today and had my fetal heart echo test last week. My placenta is close to cervix, so will have another u/s at 30 weeks.
QOTW: If you were married to an animal, which animal would your DH/SO most likely be? In other words, what animal does your SO remind you of, LOL.Grumpy Cat! (He would be grumpy to know that I called him a cat and would prefer lion, tiger, or wolverine, I am sure.)
We have been sharing the news with coworkers and friends this week. It's exciting but last night I was suddenly felt paranoid. Like now that most people know something is bound to go wrong.
QOTW: Grizzly bear because he is pretty hairy and can be a real meanie when he is in a bad mood. He would also love to hibernate in the winter, sometimes he is a real homebody. I am sure he would prefer if I'd said wolf or something cute like a river otter.
IF, 5 losses, 1 son, 1 on the way.
NTNP 2009-2012 TTC since 2012:
Jack has handpicked his sibling up there

SURPRISE! BFP 8/8/16 EDD 4/1/17
All is well at 15w1d here. Not much happening other than an increase in my nausea(joy!). Our next appointment isn't until after Christmas so its just a waiting game until then. We were finally able to find the HB on our Doppler the other night. H was giggling like a little girl, it was awesome! We even have the giggles recorded so he cant live it down now!
We may have actually come across a girl name that we agree on too! The boy name has been pinned down since before we even got KU, so this is huge that we seem to agree on a girl name!
I am horrible at these sort of questions! H is stubborn, set in his ways but very fun loving and loyal. I have no idea what sort of animal that would be!

As far as DH, that is a tough one! He's not really a furry animal kind of a person - so maybe a fish?
