What were you doing this time last year???

DH, myself and some friends were down in the French Quarter tearin' it up. We were out til about 4am when we came home, ate and crashed around 5-530ish.

We swore last year that we would go have a nice dinner and drinks alone the next new years eve. Now look at us. He's been called into work, I'm home on the internet watching football alone, and we're expecting a baby. My, how things change.

How is this NYE different for you from last NYE?

Last year we hosted a game night with about 10 of our friends and played Cranium into wee hours.  Tonight, DH is passed out from Cheesecake Factory food coma and i am bumping!

Last year we were at a party at a friend's house. 

This year we're home, watching TV, DH playing on his computer, me on mine.

Last nye, I was at a bowling alley, watching a band that a family friend is in, I won the straw thing to make a wish, and I wished to have a baby in 08 (no lie), we had been trying about 6 months....oh yeah, and I was WASTED....

We co-hosted a party at our good friends house...drinking/smoking all night until about 3ish.... now we're both pregnant and home with our lovers doing not to much!

We had moved into our new place and had only been there about 2 weeks, so we were probably still unpacking, adjusting, etc. I don't think I made it to midnight last year either, lol!

For the past few years we have hosted poker night at our house for NYE.  This year we passed the torch onto one of our other friends since I am on BR.  I was really bummed that we can't celebrate this year.  It wouldn't have been the same without the drinking anyway.  sigh

Last year my husband was working on the ambulance and I was home; this year he's working on the ambulance and i'm still home eating birthday cake

No, we are NYE lame-o's.
