Finals and DH (vent)

It's finals time, so you know what that means: DH is being a huge crab!  Seriously, can I lock him away for two weeks during finals?  He's been going on and on about this stupid paper for days now.  His problems?  He wrote too much and the professor said he could turn it in anytime but he still feels like it's late.  SERIOUSLY?  I will kill you.  He just IMed me that daycare (the one on campus, our home, where he is right now) called and said LO seems to have a stomach bug, so please come and pick him up....and DH said he would come "when he could".  I told him he better get his ass over there right the hell now.  MEN!  WHAT ARE THEY GOOD FOR?

Did I mention it's my finals time too and I have a paper due Friday that I've written, like, 6 sentences on?  NO SYMPATHY.  [-X

Ugh!, I do not miss school one bit! Good luck to you on your paper and I hope LO feels better soon. BRAT diet! Bananas, rice, apples, toast.

Sorry your H is being sucky and that LO is sick! I would stick to bland food - toast and applesauce? And lots of water/liquids.

Men! They cannot multi-task. When LO had a stomach bug I offered things like yogurt and toast. She did not eat much and needed light stuff in her tummy. I also added a bit of pedialyte to her water just to make sure she was staying hydrated. I hope LO feels better soon.

Oh, no! I feel your pain, finals SUCK!! As for LO, banana,rice, applesauce, toast should have him on the mend in no time. And warm water in small amounts frequently.

Yeah, my H was complaining about ME being in school. He keeps saying he cannot wait for me to finish with school because I can't do anything fun on the weekends. Right...like i haven't noticed. So annoying! And he is applying to go back for his MBA. Can't wait till its him and not me in school.....

All went well tonight UNTIL he gagged on the Greek yogurt and threw up everything he ever ate in his whole life. The dog was right there, too, eating it. Motherhood is so glamourous.

He was perfectly happy immediately after throwing up, right up until bedtime as usual.  Children are weird.  Meanwhile, am I feeling sick, or do I just REALLY not want to do this paper?  Here's hoping....
