Gift for DH -- Help!

Okay ladies. I'm a bad gift giver. And it's worse with a baby and I'm tired.

I was so tired with the baby I didn't even get DH a birthday card. So we have Christmas and our 1 year anniversary coming up! And I need to do something. He's pretty sentimental for a guy and I'm really not for a girl! So I need help being more sensitive.

On top of it all I'm pretty frugal. I don't like to waste $$.

(Oh the week before DHs bday he got a new car! So it's not like he didn't get something nice.)

I won't be much help here. DH is getting a mini RC helicopter and a fancy meat thermometer for Christmas. One useful gift, one not so much... Eh, I think he'll like it.

I would buy clothes --- but he's pretty picky and should pick out some of it himself.

He wants a good bicycle, but 1. That's pricey, 2. He should pick it out and 3. We are kind of waiting until he's done with school since he doesn't have time for it anyways.

For DH's birthday I got him a keychain that had three layers of metal reading "Daddy est 2013" "My superhero" and DS's name.  I got it on Etsy.  I thought he wouldn't like it, but he really did.  You probably couldn't get it by Christmas now, though.

If you guys play ticket to ride together, and find the 2 player balance to be off, I suggest Ticket to Ride Nordic Countries. It's only for 2-3 players and is so much better for 2 than normal TTR or TTR Europe in my opinion.

What about an experience? I got mh a race car driving thing. And it was a groupon so I saved money. What about something like that?

Last year I did some boudoir photos and MH really seemed to enjoy that gift You could set up your own camera so you wouldn't have to pay someone either, and order a print or gift made with a picture online.

Chickypoo2468 I am  lurker.  We have a Chromecast.  You can do any website.  It is great to watch TV shows that are not on Hulu or Netflix.

I really like the chrome cast idea. Maybe an iTunes giftcard too so we can download stuff guilt free.

We just got married so we have tons of beer glasses and such so we might not need the man crate. But I could surprise him with some beers!

I like the personalized gift ideas too. I've just been a slacker so I don't think I can get any of that by Christmas!

Yeah if I were to do boudoir photos. That should've been prepregnancy! Not quite feeling that sexy these days.
