Plasma blood test Wednesday just to find out that I'm not pregnant so I can have the HSG Thursday. SA has to wait until next Saturday because of Christmas which messes our timing up for a natural cycle. My DD leaves to go to her dad's Friday. UGH!

Why are they making you do a blood test? That is crazy. My RE and OB just do a urine test right before. That seems like such an annoying ass hassle

My stupid insurance company requires it. The lady that schedules HSGs didn't get it either because I asked why I needed a plasma test. She said she thought it was stupid but they had to do it to approve the HSG.

I also had to have a blood pregnancy test done before my HSG. They told me I needed it when I booked the appointment. They require it or they won't perform the HSG.
