Trouble TTC

Dumb CD3 question???

So first please excuse my ignorance since I really have no idea about some of this stuff.  I see a lot of women go in for CD3 ultrasounds.  I never go in until CD12 for my follie check.  When you go on CD3 aren't you still menstruating?  Is this just to check and make sure everything looks okay before you start meds?

Sorry I just keep seeing it and I wondered.

Re: Dumb CD3 question???

  • At my CD3 they also do b/w to make sure that all my hormones are at baseline and to assess my FSH. Like @1983lindsey said, you don't want to start meds if your body isn't ready for them.
