dinner out with 2 kids tonight = disaster

I guess it was bound to happen sometime.  DH and I wanted to go out to dinner and we thought it would be ok but it was one problem after another.  DS absolutely did not want to sit still no matter what.  DD has been having reflux issues and has been pretty cranky but I thought we had them under control, but she ended up crying throughout dinner regardless of what we tried to do to console her.  DH was totally flustered, but I tried to tell him that it was going to happen sometime and we just got the check asap and got out of there (and forgot my food in the process of leaving). 

2 sleeping kids and 2 glasses of wine later...it's not seeming so bad. 

Hope everyone has a happy new year!  We're big party animals...DH is playing ps3 and I'm doing some online retail therapy.
