Plan B while breastfeeding?

Hi ladies - I tend to be more of a lurker on these boards than a poster, but would love to know if anyone has been through similar. Last night the condom broke. DD is almost 3 months, and although we're thinking of another down the road, DH and I were hoping for a bit more space between the two. I'm EBF and there has been a day of spotting here and there (including about 3 days ago), but AF has not returned. After I had DS (now 8yo), I EBF and AF didn't return for at least 6 months. DH and I talked about me getting Plan B just to be safe today, but while it says it is safe for BF there are many people who say it can decrease milk supply for several days after. I return to work in 3 weeks and am trying to build up a milk supply in the freezer, so a decrease right now scares me. Has anyone ever used it while BF and what was your experience? Approximately when did your cycle start after birth while EBF? I know everyone is different, but either way I'm going to have to take a chance and I'd love to hear anyone else's experience. TIA!

Chances are on your side that you won't get pregnant from this one incident.  You're likely not fertile yet, and even if you are, you would have to be in the right time of your cycle.  If it were me, I would take the chance and not do Plan B.   It looks like it is safe, though, if you want to be certain. 

I'm 15 pp, and still no AF.
