Weight loss when sick?

My baby has a virus and has lost 11oz in less than a week. Did anyone else experience this??? Did they gain it back quickly or did it take a while? I am waiting for the pediatrician to call me. My DD is FTT so 11oz Is a huge hit for us. She Is 9 months

    That happened with DS1 around 8 months. He lost about a pound and he was already a 5th percentile peanut to begin with. He gained it back rather quickly after getting better. Hope your DD feels better son.
