Progesterone and dizziness

Is any one one progesterone and experiencing dizziness? I've been taking it For about 4 days now. Tonight I took it and I'm feeling dizzy. I ate about 10 min after I took it. I have not been dizzy the past couple days. There were other days that I took it and didn't eat at all after and 30 min before. I'm just wondering if it may be a side effect from it or maybe I'm just not doing well. Thank you for any advice!

Yes that is a very common side effect of it. I was told to take it right before bed. If I don't, then I feel drunk!

Isn't dizziness every now and then just plain old common with pregnancy? I take vag supps of progesterone three times a day and have only noticed being dizzy twice in the last month of being on them.

What kind of progesterone supplements are they? I know the vaginal suppositories are supposed to have less side effects than the kind you take orally. Maybe something to ask your doctor about. Also, like PP said, taking them before bed helps too.

I take them orally. I talked to a co worker and she said if she doesn't take them and immediately go to bed she feels the same way. That was the first night I stayed up after taking them so I think it was just that. Thanks y'all!,

Ask to take them vaginally... I took them orally for 2 weeks and I was miserable 24/7 with dizziness!!! Once I switched to vaginally everything was great!!!
