Sick Baby

Friday night was our first time leaving S with a non-family member babysitter. It was one of the ladies from her daycare that we absolutely love, while we were at my work Christmas party. Well S ended up throwing up twice while we were gone (she has never been a spitter, and this was true vomit - with her purée and last bottle both coming up. We for home and put her to bed and she slept all night. Woke up Saturday morning, gave her a couple ozs of bottle and she threw it up about 10 mins later.

I texted her pedi who told us to do pedialyte and make sure she had 3-4 pees that day. Right before bed was finally her third pee, and she'd had diarrhea once during the day, and eaten about a third of her normal daily formula intake.

Slept all night, kept down her bottles today (she's only had 11 ozs today and usually has 30 plus purées) and just threw up again. As soon as she does, she's laughing and playing. Other times she's a little more cuddly than usual but not acting like she feels awful. Any ideas? I plan to take her to the doctor in the morning, but just thought I'd pick your brains!
MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    Awe poor baby. The pedialyte should help. She is not going to want to eat much if her tummy is upset so just keep her hydrated with lots of fluid and bland purees. GL at the drs tomorrow. Hope they can give you more answers.

    My lo has been in the same boat! Stick to pedialite, and apple sauce, or crackers, i cant see your siggy so i don kniw how old she is...
    But BRAT is the diet:
    Banana
    Rice
    Apples
    Toast or crackers...

    Its tried and true stick to it as much as you can...

    Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
    All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

    When the boys were sick this past September the ER had us doing 1/2 pedialite mixed with 1/2 formula. We slowly backed off the pedialite and moved back to formula. I hope your little one starts to feel better. Sick babies are no fun because they can't tell you what's wrong.

    E has the same thing! We are alternating pedialyte and soy milk (a trick from a friend, dairy is hard on a sick tummy and something in soy milk or soy formula is supposed to help.) then we are feeding her the BRAT diet like @kfdecarie mentioned. But only how much and when she wants to eat. GL, I hope LO is feeling better soon. E is feeling better already, but still diarrhea.

    There is for sure a stomach virus going around! I hope she is her usual self again tomorrow! Keep of firing small amounts of liquids. The BRAT diet is a wonderful thing ;)

    Oh no! Sorry S is sick. No advice. J was sick this last week and decided to stop eating food. All she wanted was boobie. Sickies throw off the whole intake thing. Good luck at the dr.

    Thanks for all the input! She kept down her bedtime bottle and I just gave her a morning bottle so hopefully that stays down too.

    @kfdecarie and @TJ1979 I hope your LOs feel better ASAP!

    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    Oh no! Poor S! I hope today is better for both of you. I think it's harder on mom than baby IMO. :( Are you able to be home with her today?
    dx: MFI 0% morph & low count. Occasional Anovulatory cycles.

    Hopefully it was just a small stomach bug that has hopefully passed.

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    @PennyLane26 I stayed home half a day then DH's mom kept her. She seems to be feeling better tonight. We're diluting her formula with pedialyte and so far she's only gotten sick once today.
